Goodbye 2025 and hello 2026

Hello 2026! I hope the New Year has been prosperous for you so far. In January, we started our winter term, and I’d like to thank all our students for joining our winter language courses. 

Here is a short summary of 2025 and new visions for 2026.

First, let’s see what 2025 was like. 2025 was a good year, but it didn’t start the best. In February, our website stopped working and I needed to find a solution to create a new website for our learners to use. Relatively quickly, I created our current beautiful website. Later in 2025, we re-started our school’s blog, first by reposting old blog posts and then adding new ones. We had another language tutor teaching for 10 years at BLS: this year it was Patricia, our Portuguese tutor. Congratulations!  

We ran many amazing language courses and individual lessons. 

Privately, it was also a time of change, as my family welcomed a baby girl to the world. It was a joyous moment for all of us.

This year, in 2026, we plan to run online language courses at many different levels and offer individual tuition (both general and exam preparation). We also plan to have regular posts here, on our blog: on languages, language learning, recipes and book reviews. More plans? We’ll definitely share them here and on social media.

We’ve already started putting together our spring timetable. You can also book individual language lessons with us.
