German Tutor: Victoria Holderied-Milis, PhD

Victoria is a qualified, enthusiastic and passionate German teacher with a deep love of languages. She has eight years of professional teaching experience in Germany and over a decade of teaching German as a foreign language in the UK, mainly to adults. She starts her day reading Spiegel Online, an excellent German newspaper, which keeps her well informed and connected to the country. As well as being fluent in German, she speaks Dutch, English and French and is a keen student of Spanish. She deepens her language repertoire by reading books in different languages, further nurturing her passion for linguistics. Victoria believes in creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Her teaching philosophy emphasises that learning should be a fun, joyful and interactive process and, where possible, a mutual exchange of ideas.
